Tutorial #11 Scarlett Johansson


- Made with Photoshop CS2
- Uses selective colouring

01. Duplicate the base, Screen 100% > Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen >Flatten the image (right click on the layer in the pallette)
02. Layer > New adjustment layer > Curves >

RGB > input: 109 output: 128
Red > input: 83 output: 137
Green > input: 85 output: 78

03. Layer > New adjustment layer > Selective coloring

Reds:
-100
+50
+100
+50

Yellows:
-100
+50
-100
0

Whites:
+45
-29
-20
+25

Neutrals:
+20 
-5
+10
0

04. Take the base, > soft light 100%
05. Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur > amount 6,2
06. # 130c39, Exclusion 70%

I tried the tutorial on the same base again, I made a little change in neutrals... -5 not +20. Maybe it works now.

Did you try it on my base? because I get the same result as in the tut.
On other bases it can indeed come out more reddish... in that case you can change
the opacity of the selective color layer, or change a couple of settings yourself so it fits the icon the way you want.
